Head of Business Development
Job Description:
Solvero Group is a holding company that brings together multiple businesses under one organization while providing centralized HR, Legal, IT, and Finance support across the group.
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Business Development to accelerate the growth of our B2B casino aggregation business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new commercial opportunities, growing the distribution of our proprietary game portfolio, and strengthening our aggregation offering through strategic partnerships across international markets.
Working closely with the CEO and Chief Revenue Officer, collaborating with Product, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and delivery teams, you will own the full business development lifecycle - from identifying prospects and leading commercial negotiations to supporting successful partner onboarding and long-term account growth. This role is ideal for someone with deep B2B iGaming experience, strong commercial negotiation skills, an established industry network, and a proven ability to build strategic partnerships that generate sustainable revenue.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Operator Partnerships
- Identify, qualify, and acquire new operator partners across priority international markets.
- Build and maintain strong executive relationships with operators, game providers, and other strategic stakeholders.
- Lead discovery meetings, prepare commercial proposals, develop financial models, and manage negotiations through to contract execution.
- Expand existing operator relationships by increasing aggregation activity and driving wider adoption of proprietary game content.
- Develop scalable business development processes that support long-term commercial growth.
Provider Partnerships & Portfolio Expansion
- Source, evaluate, and onboard new third-party game providers that strengthen the company's aggregation portfolio.
- Assess provider opportunities based on commercial potential, market demand, technical readiness, and strategic alignment.
- Negotiate commercial agreements including revenue share models, minimum guarantees, exclusivity arrangements, territorial rights, promotional support, and release schedules.
- Continuously improve the competitiveness of both third-party content and Vertex Gaming's proprietary game portfolio.
- Work closely with internal teams to prioritize provider integrations based on commercial opportunities.
Commercial Negotiations & Deal Execution
- Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations with operators and providers while balancing commercial objectives and long-term partnership value.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Product, and Integrations to ensure due diligence, contracting, technical planning, and launch activities are completed efficiently.
- Manage the complete partnership lifecycle from initial contact through successful activation.
- Escalate commercial exceptions and high-impact contractual commitments when appropriate.
Partner Activation & Relationship Management
- Remain actively involved after contract signing to ensure successful integration and launch.
- Monitor early partnership performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.
- Conduct regular business reviews with strategic partners to strengthen relationships and support continued growth.
- Ensure promotional commitments, operational readiness, and commercial objectives are successfully delivered.
Pipeline Management & Commercial Operations
- Maintain accurate CRM data covering opportunity stages, qualification, forecasts, expected close dates, activation timelines, commercial assumptions, and risks.
- Build structured pipeline management processes that improve forecasting accuracy and commercial visibility.
- Track partnership performance and provide regular updates on pipeline health and commercial progress.
- Support leadership with reliable revenue forecasting and commercial reporting.
Market Development & Industry Representation
- Identify new markets, commercial opportunities, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, customer demand, and emerging technologies within the iGaming ecosystem.
- Represent the company at international conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Develop event strategies that generate qualified business opportunities and measurable commercial results.
- Share market insights that contribute to commercial strategy and future product development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Development, Partnerships, or commercial experience within B2B iGaming, ideally covering casino aggregation, gaming platforms, game providers, or operator technology.
- Proven track record of personally sourcing, negotiating, and closing strategic operator and provider partnerships across international markets.
- Strong understanding of casino aggregation, content distribution, revenue-sharing models, minimum guarantees, exclusivity agreements, territorial rights, and commercial partnership structures.
- Experience leading commercial negotiations, preparing proposals, and evaluating partnership economics.
- Good technical understanding of API integrations, implementation processes, service levels, dependencies, and partner onboarding.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience using CRM platforms, managing sales pipelines, and maintaining accurate commercial forecasts.
- Established professional network across operators, aggregators, game providers, studios, and key decision-makers within the iGaming industry.
- Demonstrated ownership throughout the full partnership lifecycle, from prospecting and negotiation to integration and successful launch.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Integrations.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Professional-level English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel internationally for strategic partner meetings and industry events.
